Friday Introductions

Everyone knows I am passionate about improving workplace culture, but I also enjoy so many other things too! I wanted to share a little bit about myself, especially for folks who are new and hear from you as well!⁠ ⁠

In May 2012 I moved to KC. I had gotten back from living in India for a year and decided to move here because of all the pride this city has! ⁠ ⁠

I worked in corporate partnerships at a non-profit for 6+ years before beginning Växa Collective. Växa is Swedish for “to grow” - and that’s what we help people and organizations do. I chose a Swedish word because my dad’s side has Swedish ancestry. ⁠ ⁠

My favorite thing to do on a weekend is to go on a trip to visit friends! If I’m staying in KC, I love to hike, go out to dinner and drinks, have a movie night. I love exploring new places and doing new things. ⁠ ⁠

The most exciting thing about beginning a new year is the chance to set a new goal, choose a word to focus on; mine is ABUNDANCE and being intentional about my mindset.⁠ ⁠
