You are not reduced by the events that happen to you!

Although there are several businesses are continuing to open up all over the US, we are still operating from a virtual platform. There have been so many character-building moments these last four months. ⁠

I love this quote from Maya Angelou. The word "reduced" is really powerful here. She didn't say the word "saddened", "hurt", or "scarred." There are certainly moments we have felt those emotions here at Vaxa Collective, but we have not been made less by those moments. ⁠

So even when situations and circumstances feel completely out of control, we are resting in the fact that those moments don't reduce us. ⁠
