Listening: The most important thing you can do as leader
Listening-- that's how you learn what they need, who they are, and how you can help them achieve goals.
Have you felt heard by your boss? Do you think your direct reports have been heard by you?
Not sure? Ask them. Listen. Create a culture of listening. Even if you aren't the decision-maker in your organization, you can begin to cultivate change when you practice listening.
