Can I let you in on a little secret?

Even after a few years, the number one question I still get asked is “why did you start a business practicing organization development and workplace culture consulting?”⁠

Here’s the short version of my answer: I have always loved people. Working in groups, leading teams, and helping people grow have always brought me tons of joy! Knowing that there are so many people out there who dislike their jobs or don’t feel any value in the work they do makes me feel so sad for them — because I know things can be better!⁠

Can I let you in on a not so little secret? You DON’T have to hate your job! Your teams CAN be better. The problems I see consistently arise are poor communication, leadership skill gaps, and lack of trust between executive team members and the rest of their staff. When these areas of an organization improve, employee engagement (satisfaction) improves and thus results in higher revenue growth!⁠
