As much as we are tempted to possibly deny our need for affirmation when it comes to our work, your team members need to know you will be checking in, helping them if they have a question, and pointing them toward resources to help them be successful. However, don’t micromanage - that’s not truly delegating. Remove obstacles out of their way so they can provide excellent results—but don’t take over the task that you spent time and energy entrusting to someone else.
