Step Two: Find someone who wants to learn about what you are delegating

Step TWO of delegation: Find someone who is skilled at or wants to learn about what you’re delegating.

Delegating can be scary. It’s easy to to be skeptical of someone else representing work that you have previously been responsible for and put your energy and skillset towards. But, people are skilled and eager to learn more often than we give them credit for. If you know someone in your organization who is skilled at the task at hand, let them give it a try. Additionally, if someone is interested in an opportunity to learn and grow, let them come alongside you as you teach them about the processes and systems you are desiring to delegate.

How have you provided opportunities for team members to learn and grow? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
