Celebrating Black History Month | James Baldwin

As we continue to remember and celebrate African Americans this month, James Baldwin was one-of-a-kind. Baldwin was a writer and playwright, born in Harlem, New York. He broke literary ground with the exploration of racial and social issues in many of his works. He was especially known for his essays on the black experience in America. By 1987, when he died of stomach cancer at the age of 63, Baldwin had become one of the most important and vocal advocates for equality!

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” - James Baldwin

Change is an important part of a company’s growth and in order to stay healthy, leaders need to manage change in a way that is specific to the goals they have. We have to face our challenges with an open mind and with humility— and that’s going to get us in the right mindset to work through changes effectively.
